Minette’s Angels Foundation Scholarship is awarded annually to a second year nursing student at Seton Hall University who exhibits academic excellence, strength and determination. The Foundation, to date, has committed over $20,000.00 to Seton Hall University’s College of Nursing program.
On December 27, Minette’s Angels Foundation donated $20,000 to the Trinitas Health Foundation to help breast cancer patients at Trinitas Regional Medical Center. This gift will supply food, lymphedema sleeves, and other necessities.

Thank you to Kendra Scott and her amazing team for hosting a warm and welcoming “Sip, Sweets and Jewels” event on December 15, 2019 at the Mall at Short Hills. Your generous donation of 20% of all in-store sales that day to Minette’s Angels Foundation will help our Foundation continue our mission of supporting breast cancer patients and survivors, providing assistance to those in treatment, support research and promote breast health awareness. Your dedication and commitment to helping others is inspiring.
Minette’s Angels would like to thank Remede Skin Care Center of Summit, New Jersey who, once again, so graciously recognized and supported our survivors by inviting them to enjoy a “feel good” service during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Many of our survivors enjoyed the warm and relaxing atmosphere of Remede, as well as a complimentary facial, manicure or pedicure provided by the amazing, professional team at Remede.
Minette’s Angels once again would like to thank FINE FIT, a personal training studio for women in Summit, New Jersey for their continued support, awareness and proactive attention to women’s health concerns. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and, as a result of their philosophy “Get Stronger, Feel Better”, they designed and sold T-shirts featuring their motto and signature pink ribbon during the month of October, 2019 in support of Minette’s Angels Mission.

The West Milford High School Field Hockey teams worked once again with district administrators and breast cancer survivors, at its 8th annual Administrators-Survivors-and-Athletes Team Competition Day on Oct. 28.
The three levels, freshman, JV, and varsity, were mixed together and four new teams were created.
The teams held a “pink” breakfast in September and invited the breast cancer survivors and started planning their team outfits/themes/slogans for the event in October.
The girls were able to raise $2,000 to donate to Minette’s Angels.
Thank you to all our sponsors, donors, keynote speaker, supporters, friends and family for making Minette’s Angels Foundation’s Annual Ladies Tea a huge success. Over 120 guests celebrated our mission in helping in-treatment breast cancer patients by enjoying a lovely brunch.
Dr. Alexis Parcells, of Spiro Plastic Surgery, presented “Survivor’s Stories: the Good, the Bad, and the (not so) Ugly.” A silent auction, tricky tray and sale of MAF robes (yes, you can donate one to a Breast Cancer Survivor too!) made for a wonderful afternoon.
On November 13, 2018, the West Milford Rotary Club’s “Rotarian of the Month”, Amy Bennett, designated Minette’s Angels Foundation as the beneficiary of their $250 award. Minette’s Angels board member Rita Mughetto represented the Foundation at the event, and connected with other like-minded philanthropic hearts!
Through support such as this, Minette’s Angels will continue to provide assistance to those in treatment, support research and promote breast health awareness. We will continue to offer scholarships to nursing students at Seton Hall University’s College of Nursing, scholarships to local high school students entering the medical field, placing a priority of nursing majors, and a scholarship to a high school senior who has a parent diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
